MEET TOMMY NICKEL, OWNER
I grew up in the Midwest and moved to Tennessee in my 20s, where I met and married my bride, Amy. We have called the Volunteer State home for twenty years and love raising our three children in Knoxville.
I developed a passion for the trades and client relations early in my career, and have specialized in custom millwork and cabinetry for over a decade.
Southern Cut Millwork was established to honor the craft of finish carpentry and the relationships built along the way. I value each opportunity to bring creative vision and execution to my work. I believe it's all about bringing the best out of Knoxville's wood and people!
When I'm not making sawdust, you may find me spending time with friends and family, cheering on the Vols, bowhunting, or enjoying a drink on the screen porch.
