MEET TOMMY NICKEL, OWNER
I grew up in the Midwest and moved to Tennessee in my 20s where I met and married my bride, Amy. We have called the Volunteer State home for twenty years and love raising our three children in Knoxville.

I developed a passion for the trades and client relations while working for a retreat center for eight years. I then transitioned to specialize in high-end trim, millwork, and custom cabinetry for nearly a decade.

Southern Cut Millwork was established to honor the craft of finish carpentry and the relationships built along the way. I value each opportunity to bring creative vision and execution to my work. I believe it's all about bringing the best out of Knoxville's wood and people!
When I'm not making sawdust, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cheering on the Vols, golfing, bowhunting, and sipping a cup of coffee on the deck.
